Role Overview
Role: Freelance Audio and Video Editor
Type: Regular freelance work, remote
Rate: £12 to £15 per hour
Hours: Starting at 12 hours per month with potential to increase
Start Date: As soon as possible

Are you eager to grow your skills in audio and video editing without needing years of professional experience? We’re looking for someone keen to gain hands-on exposure in post-production while working on varied and engaging projects. This position is well-suited for candidates starting out in their editing journey who are excited about gaining valuable skills and building their portfolio while refining their craft.
Responsibilities

Begin with the basics: Start with straightforward tasks like cutting filler words and switching camera angles.

Grow your expertise: Progress to more advanced post-production, such as designing reels, creating storyboards, and enhancing audio.

Collaborate & deliver: Understand project goals, exchange ideas with the team, apply feedback, and ensure high-quality outputs.

Meet deadlines: Manage your workflow proactively to deliver on time.

Stay connected: Maintain open communication to clarify objectives, provide updates, and stay in sync with project needs.
Experience & Skills

Experience: 1 year of audio and video editing/post-production experience is preferred, but we’ll consider those new to the industry if they have a proactive positive attitude.

Software: Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus.

Attention to detail: The ability to spot and fix even minor errors is essential.
